    The name Kelsey comes from an old English name given name Ceolsige which means “ships victory” or it could be a place name meaning “Cenels island” is a combination of the old English word cenel. Meaning “ fierce “ and “eg” meaning island. I wokld wo different stories about how my name was picked. My dad thinks my mom picked it from a person named Kelsey Grammer of the TV show Fraser. My mom said that's now how I got my name. She says I got my name from a list of names that they liked.
