I remember seeing craters the size of a house. These humungous and steep holes in the ground showed the damage that was caused during the war. After visiting Pointe Du Hoc, we went back to Mercure Hotel. We had baked chicken, fresh tilapia, and steamed rice once we got to the hotel. Altogether I enjoyed the food. I sat with my friends, joking and talking like we always do. I remember that night well, being that it was our last night in France.
