The research paper will include the following questions; How can we use gelatin to measure the speed of light? Who discovered the ability to measure the speed of light? When was the speed of light discovered? Why is the speed of light important? What is the speed of light? And where was the speed of light discovered. Research Questions How can we use gelatin to measure the speed of light? To find the speed of light using gelatin all that you have to do is just directly point a handheld laser at a specific angle aligned to where the plastic container is placed with jello and record your data. Once I do collect all the necessary data I will use an equation to figure out the speed of light that passed through the gelatin and compare that speed to the usual speed of light.
