teams because of where they live. People are more prone to root for a team where they live because there is easy access to go anytime to the stadium and watch a game. They could also like the team where they live, because they do not want to take the risk of getting beat up by other people that like the other team. For example, it is not a good idea for a Browns fan to live in Pittsburgh. There is more of a chance to get your butt kicked. Also, if you lived in Oakland and went to a game, those fans are some of the harshest fans in the NFL. People may also like a sports team because of their color as each team has that color that just brings a person in. You want to have attractive colors, so that your fans will look good supporting those colors. Some fans even go as far as to have a room dedicated to that certain team or have their garage or basement painted in their team colors. For example, the diehard fans bleed “black and gold” as the fans in Pittsburgh would or “yellow and green” in Green Bay; “black in gray” in Oakland or “silver and blue” in Dallas. The true diehard fans in football for example, will leave their houses at wee hours of the morning in order to get that great parking spot so they can do the all American tail-gating. These fans go all out with their grills grilling food, drinks, snacks, some even go as far as bringing their corn hole boards out. The fans are dressed to kill, their vehicles are dressed to the nines too. There’s usually enough food to feed…
