I have no doubt in my mind that reaching out to that country captain was one of the best decisions I made during the application process, as it strengthened my understanding of the program, dramatically improved my application and confirmed that Booth is the place I wanted to be. The regional and country captains are a team of current Chicago Booth students who volunteer as ambassadors for the school. The position is highly sought after as it is extremely rewarding to be able to not only represent your country and school but also to help applicant better understand what the Chicago Booth culture is all about.…

But by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.” This “being flooded with water” is clearly a reference to the days of Noah. Like Christ, Peter says that in the last days, people will show evidence of their ignorance and debased minds by mocking the idea that God will again disrupt the continuity of life by displaying His wrath on a desperately immoral world. Peter says God will again bring punishment on a…

fullness in Noah’s day before the flood also present in the seed of Ham’s son, Canaan? Is it also possible that Ham’s wife was with child when she entered the ark? If so, perhaps the seed of wickedness from Ham’s wife — like Noah’s wine — was given time to ferment. Whether through that birth or a repetition of demonic unions like those prior to the flood, wickedness would again flourish while God, in His grace, would delay judgment for centuries. But at the time appointed, God’s judgment of…
