Rock Central High school- The very first high school to integrate white and black students. On the morning of September 23, 1957 was when the Little Rock Nine first came to the school. The 101st Airborne Matthew Haggard Little Rock- President Dwight Eisenhower ordered the 101st Airborne to protect the little rock nine (nine black students going to Hot Springs High School during integration).
