everything, I didn't care so much about religion but, since I noticed how important it was to my parents, throughout the years I had always kept Jehovah in mind. It was not until recently that I began to cultivate my own personal relationship with Jehovah God. After so many years without him I now know he is my closest friend and is always who I go to at any time and any day. If it was not for him and his holy spirit that I receive I would not have faith or any purpose in this life I live. Praising Jehovah is what my world revolves around and what defines me most of all. Another important factor in my cultural identity is, the Bible, which is constantly molding me into who I am on the inside, leading to the actions taken on the outside. I personally believe it it the true word of Jehovah God and therefore I will do everything in my ability to follow its principles and concepts everyday in this world and the next one to come. Many people may think because it was written a long time ago that it is no longer useful and too antique. Due to my faith in Jehovah God I am always attentive to my actions and words and make sure Jehovah would approve of who I am, because every single thing that I do is always done to glorify the name of Jehovah. Another huge impact on my culture identity is my family and closest friends. They are the ones…

It is obvious in the first chapter that Billings is in the Trinitarian soteriology camp. He emphasizes constantly throughout his book that reading and interpreting biblical text without the guidance of the Holy Spirit is futile and useless. He uses numerous examples on how Scripture should be read and…
