    Chandra is a 29-year-old female who was brought to the emergency room by the police after she reportedly try to still a bus. Because she appeared to be an “emotionally disturbed person, “ a mental health evaluation is being requested. According to the detective, Chandra threatened the driver with a knife, took over the almost empty bus, and crashed it into a building. Chandra’s friend, Kelly, was on the bus at the time and shared that they got on the bus at the same time in order to go to the mall. When the bus driver refused to take Chandra’s dollar bills, she looked in her purse for correct change, and then pulled out the kitchen knife that she carries for protection. When the driver fled, Chandra got into the driver’s seat and drove into the building across the street when she tried to drive away. Upon beginning the evaluation, Chandra remained in handcuffs. She is heavy set and has a bandage on her forehead. She fidgeted in her chair and rocked back and forth. Chandra began mumbling and when asked what she was saying, she made momentary eye contact and just repeated, “Sorry, sorry.” She did not respond to other questions. More information was elicited during a consultation with her current mental health provider. He stated that Chandra and her friend are longtime residents at the state psychiatric hospital.
