    memorial, all the people who fought in that war had valor, courage, and integrity, because they were fighting in the face of death, and still fought. This shows that many people are willing to have valour, courage, and integrity, trying to help others, or fighting for rights. The second idea is independence, the idea of being independent. Our independence began when we wrote the Declaration of Independence, which signified we became an independent country. We learned how Thomas Jefferson must have felt writing the Declaration of Independence, and learned how to write a good essay. In the National Archives, we saw all the important documents that make up our country, and the Declaration of Independence. We had a project where we had to sort out some documents and photos, and see where they would fit into the Constitution. The Declaration of Independence is in the rotunda in the National Archives, along with the Constitution, and other documents are also in the rotunda as well. All these documents define not only our independence, but other important matters as well. The oldest document stored there is the Magna Carta, from 1215. The Magna Carta, which served as the outline of the English Law. All these documents take part in our history and define our history. The last idea is liberty, an idea where it is the state of being free, within the society. Our liberty defined itself on July 4, 1776 commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence.
