The cryogenics tube symbolizes being frozen in time not knowing what to do while the rest of society moves on in life with a purpose. Another way ice is symbolized in the film is Batman and Robin, 1997. The main villain, Mr. Freeze, has deeper past. Mr. Freeze was working at a lab inventing a cure for his wife Nora, who had a fatal disease. He froze her for the time so he could focus on the cure. However, when he was doing an experiment he became exposed to cryo fluids. This forced him to wear a special suit that kept his temperature at sub-zero. He would die without the suit, Mr. Freeze turned to a life of crime. He started robbing museums with expensive minerals to continue funding his research for his wife’s cure. Since he lived in Gotham, he became a target for Batman and Robin. Ice to Mr. Freeze is dark and cruel. Before Mr. Freeze was exposed to cryo fluids, he was just an ordinary happy man trying to find a cure to save his wife. After he was exposed to cryo fluids he still had the same goal he was just turned to the path of evil to accomplish it. The ice made Mr. Freeze cold and sinister. So in conclusion, ice can be interpreted in many different ways. Ice has been perceived for many different ways for a long time. It can be seen in different forms of culture such as literature, religion, and art. Ice can have a positive meaning like unstoppable strength, which can…
