was the exact same but I liked it. For the first two periods everyday we worked on a physics project, which was making a mouse trap into a race car. It was interesting, on Monday morning no one had any idea of what we would be doing but Mr. Seland went around and out a mouse trap on everyones desk. From that we watched videos on what a mousetrap car was and how to build them, then the rest was up to us. Everyone had to make their own car and though we were allowed to talk with other people we had to make sure we made it ourself. We were also allowed to use the internet which helped me out. I did struggle with this project, I am not usually one that really builds and plays around with things to make cool things. The first car I made I tried something that I seen was completely different from everyone else's but it failed miserably. So on the last two days I looked back online and my car ended up following the guidelines that everyone else did. There are defiantly flaws to it but I am just happy that I got the car to work, for a little bit there I did not think I was going to be able to even build one. If…

Day one, my first day of building. Since of my reacherch the previous day, I had an idea forming on how my mousetrap car was going to be build for and look like. I was going to build my car for distance. Use CD’s as the backwheels. Have a longer lever for distance. These were what I was thinking, my idea being having the big cd wheels in the back and because of how thin and their light weight they seemed as if they would work very well for not slowing it down, but of course they would have…

things Mr.Kunz has taught us these past couple units. Along with being able to apply their knowledge, teams had to be able to build a decent mousetrap car to get the best grade possible. In order to get a car to go the maximum distance Taylor and Daniel came up with three different main variables: lever arm length; to see how much leverage gets the car the farthest, car length; to see if a small car will steer worse, wheel size; to see if having a bigger wheel fairs better. In order to test…

It isn’t long before this disconnect aggravates itself, quickly spiralling into the uncapped psychosis commonly attributed to Hamlet in the latter part of the production. The catalyst? As The Mousetrap continues along its course, King Claudius stands before the crowd and takes his leave of the scene, retreating to places unknown. Hamlet, seeing this singularly ambiguous action as proof positive of his uncle’s guilt, allows an unconfirmed suspicion to congeal as fact in his delusion-wracked…

Trapping the Distance Preliminary observation: Before building the mousetrap racer I had to figure out a way to have the mousetrap power the racer without having much resistance. I searched around my house for things I could use as wheels. First I thought about using the tin lids off old spaghetti cans but the lids had little lips in them so that idea went into the trash. Then I went out in the garage because I knew that my mom had kept some old toys that me and my brother played with when…
