    Founded by Alice Walton and designed by Moshe Safdie, Crystal Bridges is located in Bentonville, Arkansas, and is one of the most well-known art museums around. The museum opened on November 11, 2011 and is still the country`s newest major art museum. Crystal Bridges has an extraordinary collection of artwork that can be compared to anything you would find in any well-known art museum`s. With a mix of contemporary and classic art it has a more modern feel than most museum`s and appeals to a wider variety of viewers. Crystal Bridges has free attendance with some special exhibits that require a fee. The art is separated by time periods that go in chronological order around the museum except the ones that are located outdoors. The museum has tours available throughout the day, the guides are very helpful and informative about the works of art. If you go around at your own pace there are also guides for each section or time period to answer any questions you may have.
