Payton’s Chance “Hold your core, point your toes and land softly like a swan.” Yelled Professor G over and over, Payton decided she would try and block off the world and just dance. Payton was a first year at the Australian Ballet Company. She had clear green eyes with warm brown and gold flecks coursing through them like blood. She had long, silky brown hair that had a slight red tinge to it. All of Payton’s life she had danced. She grew up in a family with all boys; her father and her two slightly younger twin brothers. Her mother had sadly passed away when Payton was only two years old, right after the twins were born, so Payton had to step up in place of her. Dancing was her only escape. Payton had just finished her ballet technique class when her blonde haired best friend Ellie Smith came rushing over to her whilst knocking the snobby and rude Alana Ecolopolis down on her way. Ellie started talking, but Payton zoned out. Ever since Payton had joined the company at the start of this year, Alana had been jealous of Payton and her skills. Every time Alana looked at Payton, there was fire in her eyes. Alana gave Payton and Ellie a look that would send shivers down your spine. Payton started to hastily pack up her things, eager to get out of the studio. Payton said goodbye to Ellie and started walking back to her room. As Payton was going down the grand staircase, she felt a firm shove and she began to fall. Payton screamed so loud that within five minutes, the whole student…

I suppose even though I…

Prosecutor Mike Nifong 's actions in this case were criminal. Nifong used the public press of this case to attempt to further his career and only presented evidence that was beneficial to his agenda. First Nations for their cooperation. It’s five o’clock. My left eye opens. I feel just great! I’m ready to hop out of bed and go on my daily five mile jog. I should probably eat my very favorite Cascadian Farm Granola Cereal first though, to provide some energy for my exceptionally fit body. As I get ready to throw off my covers, all the sudden I hear a repulsive gurgling sound, then I realize it is my own laughter, a result of the amusement I find in my own sarcasm. Even after a full night’s sleep, I feel groggy. Limbs aching…
