I remember when I was in high school the classrooms were decorated accordantly to the subject theme. For instance, my Spanish classroom was decorated with bright colors that demonstrated the Hispanic culture. It had small little piñatas across the room. The teacher always had posters that caught the attention of students as well as other people. My other classes had objects that demonstrated what the class was about as well. When we were in class we had to raise our hand to ask for permission…
Condo & Apartment Apartment and condominium do not sound new to any of us. Both apartment and condominium form by a suite of rooms in one building. Savannah The isolation room was where I spent most of my days, the walls were starch white, the bathroom was limited to a plastic shower door with a very low hanging shower head, a toilet and a mirror bolted to the wall both utilities were white and bland. There was one double paned window with a wooden ledge covered in past patients scrawlings and profanities, the window overlooked the grassy forecourt. The day I went home from Pine rest was a memorable day. It was Sunday and the sun was…
Tanner Barnard English 1180 Prof. Elizabeth Davis October 5th 2017 My Room, My Safe Place, My Sanctuary There is no place like your room, it’s a place of complete safety. There is a loud creaking noise coming from the alarm clock, that sits on my bedside table next to my Pokémon cards, which as you walk away, is replaced by the two to four groaning base boards under my blue carpet. The noise of my busy family, reminds me I’m in a safe place to relax. The noise of the outside is still…

Transition For my transition project I have chosen to do arrival time in the toddler room because I find observing the children 's when they arrive is the most difficult time in the day. Parents trying to get them to go in by telling them to go get trucks, or their favorite…
Laundry does not seem like a big issue until you are not able to wash clothes in a timely manner. In the Olive residence hall, all residences share a laundry room on the ground floor. With around 15 washers and 25 dryers to share between 429 students, there are bound to be some problems. Given that all of the machines are working, this provides a very limited amount of time and space for everyone to properly clean their clothes. My experience has included people moving my clothes with out my…
The Mad Hatter Destiny Mecomber We approached an ivy-covered picket fence. A sign by the giant gate in front of us announced that we were at the "Mad Hatter's Mad House." The house itself I couldn't see. But what I could hear was music, jazzy and bouncy, and slightly insane laughter. I turned to McTwisp. "Shall we go in?" I asked gesturing to the oversized fence. The rabbit copied me. "After you." "Uh, I'm kind of shorter than you, and you're a rabbit!" He walked forward, to the gate. "Fine,…
