Dr. Q Honors English 17/3/23 The Fundamental Actress of The Importance of Being Earnest- Dame Judi Dench “The Importance of Being Earnest” is a British comedy written by Oscar Wilde, which was transposed into a movie by the director Oliver Parker in 2002. Lady Augusta Bracknell is a dominant character which has a profound impact in both play and movie; her role is essential. She symbolizes the stereotypical upper-class woman during the Victorian Age. She is the tool through which Oscar Wilde wanted to criticize and ridicule the conservative and restrictive rules and etiquettes of the Victorian Age. In the film, the role of Lady Bracknell was given to Dame Judi Dench, one of the most celebrated British actresses. Mary is represented as icons, drawings, paintings, and apparitions, such as La Santa Muerte, La Negrita, Our Lady of the Rock, Madonna, The Virgin of Guadalupe, and Our Lady of the Wall. Sagrada Familia,” or the Sacred Family. La Sagrada Familia is, therefore, an expiatory temple, which is a type of temple dedicated to a deity to show devotion, which is a reason as to why the work’s scale is so immense, and why Gaudi paid so much attention to small details. Gaudi’s decision to work at such a large scale is also because he wanted the church to be seen from anywhere in the city of Barcelona, inviting those who need salvation to come and be saved. Gaudi’s plan was limited however,…
