I agree with Roger Ebert's review on the “The Dark Knight”. The only thing I don’t agree with is the four star rating. This is because the movie had phenomenal acting, beautiful visual and special effects and an incredible script that was written by the director himself Christopher Nolan. This is why I don’t agree with the 4 star rating. In my opinion it should be 5. Throughout the review Roger talks about Heath Ledger does a great Job playing the Joker and telling his side of things. Roger…

“I believe in Harvey dent.” (Loeb J. and Sale T. 1996-1997). In “Two-face: part one” begins with a figure cloaked in shadows flipping a coin into the air with a sinister message for the District Attorney: “it’s time”. Harvey wakes up to his aide Carlos repeating the same words as the man in the shadows notifying that a raid on a building owned by the notorious gangster Rupert Thorne is about to commence. With Batman’s help, the GCPD is able to arrest some of Throne’s goons, although when one…
The Making of the Knights Templar “Like going on pilgrimage, to which they were often likened, crusading was an act of Christian love and piety that compensated for and paid the penalties earned by sin” (Richard Abels, par. 1). During the Medieval Time Period, the Christians would take pilgrimage to the Holy City of Jerusalem until it became increasingly dangerous as the Muslim Wars of Expansion threated the Holy City of Jerusalem. This sparked the Crusades: a series of Holy Wars where the…

In My opinion The Joker is the best villain. Why some of you may ask that? Well my reasoning for choosing The Joker is becuase, the joker is very smart, He knows how to figure out all of his enemies weaknesses, and he also knows how to out smart or out think other people. Hes very quick and intelligent. Batman is also very fast and smart, But he thinks he is smarter than the joker so when the joker has a plan and batman thinks he can beat the joker hes left dazed and confused at the end…
“I am the Joker,” James Eagan Holmes was overheard muttering this phrase the night he went into a movie theatre and killed 12 people. It is fascinating how some people can rationalize their actions with such a simple phrase that, once had no meaning, but now haunt countless victims and members of Aurora, Colorado. This alone does not make an intriguing or interesting court trial. The people sitting on the jury for weeks on end need entertainment to just stay awake sometimes. After a long day at…
