This time the sign read Malpensa Airport. Last Name 3 Relieved, we acquired two empty seats next to outlets for the charging of our phones, and soon sunk into a light slumber. I rested my legs upon my carry-on to prevent it from being stolen while I rested my eyes. However, I could never sleep as well as Kylie in her half-dead state. Before we knew it we were called for boarding, but this time I dreaded the eight hour flight that awaited us. The flashing seat belt sign signaled it was time for takeoff and the same ordeal took place, only this time I wasn’t shook by surprise and I recognized the symptoms waiting to occur. We were given a blanket wrapped in plastic along with a small pillow, and a screen sat on the back of the seat before me. An endless supply of movies was provided on these screens, and as I scrolled through I took a mental list of each one I would try to get through. I had lasagna for dinner, or what looked like lasagna, but for some strange reason I didn’t have a chance to finish the still cold meal the airline provided. Kylie settled with a salad, which I concluded was a better decision. Two movies and three attempted naps later, we were circling the Malpensa Airport, preparing for landing.
