    Hailey Lichey Honors 10-3 Final Political Leader Reputation Ambition can be defined as, “an earnest desire for some type of achievement,” which has existed over all time to many people's beliefs. Greed and ambition are apparent in every society to have ever existed; but over time these ideas have become easier to see in present day political leaders due to current technology. Hence, what political leaders do from reputation for all political leaders around the world. Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo and Martin Luther King Jr. possess influential and powerful roles as political leaders in their own country. By definition, Martin Luther King Jr. fits under the category of person who was pushed by desire to fix something larger than himself. Kings ambitious desire was that one day all people to be treated as equals in life through organized protests, speeches, books, and other activities and this ambitious behavior led to him rising in power from an unknown name to residing in every house in America. Behavior such as this changes people's views of political leaders for the better. While the greedy and cruel person known as Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo may have performed some good deeds during his reign, he had a reputation as a "ruthless kleptocrat, "( Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo) leaving his followers to simply assume that there was no heart in this man who they were forced to bow down to otherwise mysterious punishment would follow.
