    Hiss and the sheriff. In Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, Sheriff George of Nottingham and his cousin, were the main antagonists of the movie. Prince John was never shown in the live movie, either. In Robin Hood Disney movie, by Walt Disney, the movie showed the Prince John, Hiss, and the sheriff in jail and the narrator said, “I thought we never get rid of those two rascals” (Disney, 1973). The antagonists, of the Disney Robin Hood movie, got put in jail. In the movie, Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, directed by Kevin Reynolds, the antagonists were killed, instead of being put in jail. Overall, the cartoon movie’s plot focused on taxes and money and the live movie’s plot focused on the Sheriff persecuting the people and trying to marry Lady Marian. Robin Hood Disney movie and Robin Hood Prince of Thieves still have many more of unlisted differences. Similarities The Robin Hood Disney movie, by Walt Disney, contains similarities from the live movie, Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, directed by Kevin Reynolds. In the beginning, Robin Hood Disney movie, by Walt Disney, the Prince Lion had said that he had “sent him off on that crazy crusade” (Disney, 1973). Prince Lion had Hiss hypnotize King Richard to fight the Crusades. Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, King Richard was away, because of the same reason, to fight the Crusades.
