    How to Stop Being the Boogeyman Who Lurks in the Night The first step to stop being seen as the Boogeyman who lurks in the night, is to stop lurking in the night. I would know, you see, since I too once was a boogeyman who lurked in the night. If you grew up, as many Boogeyman do, without learning our history you may not know why us who are no longer Boogeymen who lurk in the Night might not want to be seen the Boogeymen who lurk in the night. Let me explain it to you, for some reason we are considered scary, our fangs, our claws, and our deceptive way can hide them, these all make human children fear us, and human adults distrust us. All the screaming, lynching, and burning at the stake made us prefer the night, less bloodshed you see? Now though, in this age of racial equality the question has come to pass: why can’t we be the next liberated group? So now that you understand our history and our cause, let me resume my instruction. The second step is to hide you claws and fangs, it can be uncomfortable, I know this, but you don’t want to make the humans too angsty, that is not good for our fatality rate.
