family is from a southern province in Angola called Huambo, and we all shared the same values and culture that is predominant on this province. People in southern provinces in Angola are well known because of their kindness and respectful character. They are like this because it is part of the culture in the south. The value of showing respect to people that that my family taught shaped me in a very positive way, but I often found a conflict between what I was taught and what I saw outside home. While I was growing up my parents always wanted to make sure that I would be respectful to women and never use violence against them.
