Ligers are very rare and so are tigons. The difference between the two are ligons are made by a male lion and a female tiger and a tigon is made by a female lion and a male tiger. “Ligers, like tigons – cubs born to a lioness and a male tiger”. I do not think this is a good idea to cross breed animals because most places where they are bred by owners, they are bred in a terrible and sick place.
