    as Steve Tobak said in his article in the Entrepreneur, "Successful companies have no endpoint" the same could be said about people who persevere through difficult times. Individuals that continue to push on through life and overcome hurdles they face are well respected. Successful companies exist due to successful people who have perseverance and succeed. This is similar to my definition of perseverance, as I believe that the if you overcome life's hurdles, and succeed, you will be respected like several large companies are. These people are revered not only for their wealth but for their success that they earned through perseverance. Leonardo Del Vecchio worked as a child in a factory, after his mother had given him up as she could not take care of him. While working at a factory he had lost part of his ring finger on his left hand. Now Leonardo has a net worth of fifteen billion dollars, this man is a great example of how tenacious perseverance brought him from rags to riches. Looking back, as a child I believed entrepreneurs were just people with a large sum of money that had it given to them from their family. I now understand how a number of people have been able to go from rags to riches, and it was due to their tenacious perseverance throughout the challenging times they had faced in their lives.
