someone on fire running down the fairway along with a lawnmower up in flames. One of the Superintendents had to chase him down to get him to roll and get the flames out. He went to the hospital for about two or so months, and was diagnosed with third degree burns and he had to have his leg amputated. After all of that happened we had to buy safer lawn equipment for the employees to use. About a week after the lawn incident, we had a very interesting visit. I also met Dennis Haysbert, the guy that does the Allstates commercials. Dennis was going to join the club, but he had resigned. I also met the governor of california, Jerry Brown. About three to four months after I met Mitt Romney, I was challenged with something I never saw coming. I woke up on my regular schedule, got ready for work, made sure my kids were getting ready for school and left. I walked to his office and knocked on the door, and I was invited into his room. He told me to take a seat because we needed to…

It narrates the poet’s act of thoughtlessness in brushing away a fly which leads to the contemplation of the act and its implications, which further reveals the essence of life as “thought is life” and the lack of it, death. As the stanzas proceed from observation, contemplation, and conclusion to revelation and liberation, I get an understanding of Blake’s philosophical system. In my essay, I will argue that Blake uses a…
