My name is Harrison Potter and I rise to address the house this morning to propose Zach Bryers as my candidate for the 2018 Australian of the Year Award. Zach Bryers was born in The Australian Capital Territory in 1979 and has lead the Australian effort to help guide young Australians with any troubling experiences. Zach Bryers had a harsh upbringing and was always angry at his mother because his father wasn’t there to be angry at. At fifteen years of age he left home and went to stay with his friends when he could, but often slept in the sand dunes on the beach. Zach Bryers served in the armed forces for years until he was medically discharged due to post-traumatic stress disorder. Now back home, his experiences in war inspired him to keep striving to achieve. Zach set a new goal to compete in professional gridiron. He trained long and hard hours to reach…

It was very apparent that the Prime Minister and opposition leader, Ed Miliband, were not fans of one another, however both remained…

Considering that leaders only have to “tell [the public] they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to greater danger” in order to make people go to war, it’s easy for authority to use their influence to manipulate the people (Goering).
