You’ll also need water, vegetable oil, food coloring, and at least 2-3 alka-seltzers. For the best results with fake lava lamps use 4 parts vegetable oil and 1 part water. The container for the lava lamp should be mostly vegetable oil with some water. You can also add glitter for more fun. After gathering everything you’ll need to add food coloring to the water until you reach desired color, if you’re using glitter too add it to the water as well.
