happened in 1875, when Henry Cavendish removed nitrogen and oxygen form a sample of air, and the gases that were unaffected by this process were Noble Gases. In 1894, John William Strutt and William Ramsay replicated Henry Cavendish’s experiment with a few adjustments, and named the gas that was leftover Argon. Morris W. Travis and Sir William Travis discovered Neon, Krypton, and Xenon in 1898. They cooled a sample of air into liquid, and then captured the noble gas after removing water, oxygen, nitrogen, helium, and argon by evaporating them. The table location for Noble Gases is all the way to the right. It includes 7 elements. The 7 elements are Helium (He), Neon (Ne), Argon (Ar), Krypton (Kr), Xenon (Xe), Radon (Rn), and Oganessian (Og). Helium is a gaseous substances and gases do not have texture because their is no identifying qualities because they are not solids. Neon is a light a very inert gas. Neon is colorless and in a vacuum discharge which glows a reddish and orange light. Argon is colorless and has no texture. Argon is a gas so it is not on the hardness scale. Krypton is colorless, odorless, inert gas. Krypton is extremely unreactive but it can react with very reactive gas fluorine. Xenon is colorless and odorless, and an inert gas like all of the other Noble Gases. Radon is a radioactive element. The state at room temperature for the Noble Gases is gas. The Noble Gases all are non malleable and are not ductile. They are not malleable because they are gasses…
