    The Motte and Bailey Castles never got into a big siege but if it did it would most likely fail because it had no good defences. It had wooden walls around the outside which could easily be burned down and to get to the motte would be impossible if it’s a small group of people but if it were a big group it would definitely fail because once they get past the first wall they can take down the knights with only a bit of trouble.
