    Even today I still remember clearly what happened that fateful day. Why I did it, I’m not exactly sure but it wasn’t fun, at least for Patrick it wasn’t. I was back in 3rd grade, young, innocent, and having the time of my life. It was Spring almost Summer and it had been a decent year, nothing special but little did I know today was going to be exciting. This is when I lived in South Haven which had a population of like 10 people not including tourists. I would move to Kalamazoo in about one year because of the Kalamazoo Promise. The school I attended at the time was Lincoln Elementary School, good ol’ memories. I woke up around 8 o'clock a.m which is actually a bit late for me but I got ready for school in a whopping 15 minutes, I was faster than The Flash! My mom dropped me off to school in her soccer mom white minivan that was as old as Jesus himself. When I arrived at school the principal walked up to my car and opened the door for me. She did this everyday but I found it really weird because she was the principal, maybe it was because I had a crush on her daughter but that’s a story for another day. “ Bye Mom!” I said and rushed through the doors of the school and into my classroom.
