Mormons where do they fall on the Church-Sect continuum? I’m going to say and stand with my answer that the Mormon church is nothing but a fancy cult. There are many examples of why they are a cult. One of the very first ones is they have a reward base structure way into getting into heaven. Their structure of leadership is funky yet it works. They have been known for their problems with society. They never seem evolve to the times in all truth honesty unless it’s for the better of the church. Reward base structure what did I mean by this? By doing all these they are establishing ethical principles and are thrusting to influence their member’s behaviors. The other thing that this is starting to sound like a cult is the way they elect their leaders. There is no real election all there is…

Growing up in a Southern Baptist home I didn’t hear much about plural marriages much until I got older and was able to read about it myself. In the last couple years it has just become an interest and I have always wanted to know more about it, not that I wanted to ever live by it. It just has always been interesting to me.
