In November of 1941, Rosemary Kennedy, was ordered by her father to receive a surgery that was said to be life changing. It was called the lobotomy. The Kennedy Family was immediately skeptical of such a surgery, and came to a conclusion that it was not what they wanted for Rosemary. But their opinion and rejection to the procedure was all in vain. Joe Kennedy ordered the lobotomy to be done immediately, without his family knowing. Rosemary’s lobotomy was performed by psychiatrist Dr. Walter Freeman, and Dr. James Watts.
