    group because we could just count, but with a large number this proved more difficult. Finding a formula that worked was easy, the more difficult part was figuring out why it worked and being able to explain that to a class. On activity 2.1 I was having a hard time visualising and understanding what parts of the circle on the venn diagram to shade in. It was easy to figure out when there was just one variable involved, but when there were multiple variables and steps, I became quickly confused. Westie helped me better understand this by explaining and showing me what each step of the process would look like. She said it made it easier for her to understand when she looked at the individual pieces and then put them together. This really helped me and showed me that apply each piece one by one allows me to see the process. I honestly felt that my group did not experience any issues or conflicts. My group worked very well together and did a great job at collaborating in a respectful way, while working to solve the problem. One specific example would be while working together on Activity 2.2, one of our group members was having difficulty figuring out venn diagrams and how they represented the information. Westie and I let her work the problem on her own and let her think about before we offered any help. Having both of us help her allowed for each of us to explain it in our own way and give our other group member the opportunity to better understand it and choose the way that…
