    Before leaving the courtroom along with the other jurors, the juror number six took a last glimpse on the defendant. It seems that when having a preliminary vote, the juror number six hesitates for a moment. He does not raise his hand immediately, but rather waits for the reaction of the majority of the jury. When the juror number nine changes his verdict to non-guilty, the majority of the jurors in the room react with resent. However, the juror number six asks the other jurors to listen to what made the juror number nine to change his mind. He might have done it because he wanted to listen to what the old man had to tell; however, he could have done it out of respect. Moreover, in the scene with the juror number three being disrespectful and rude to the juror number nine; the juror number six stands up for the older fellow juror. This demonstrates how respectful towards elderly the juror number six is. In a few moments, during the scene in the restroom, in the conversation with the juror number eight, the juror number six claims to be confident that the defendant is guilty. Moreover, he asks the juror number eight to think about the consequences of letting go a person who might actually be guilty of the murder. This is the first time when the juror number six speaks his mind out loud. This scene demonstrates that the juror number six not only has a strong opinion, but also that he can reason and argue despite him being just a “working man.” The setting, a stuffy small…
