CodeName Zero In Chris Rylander’s novel, CodeName Zero, he describes the life of one kid that thought nothing exciting or peculiar could possibly occur in a place as calm as North Dakota. His name is Carson Fender, a regular student that goes to a regular middle school called Erik Hill Middle School. He’s a troublemaker at his because he sets pranks all over the school. His excuse is that he says North Dakota is way too boring. Some people don’t blame him, the principal kind of thinks thats true so on the day of Carson’s big prank he only gets 2 weeks of detention. He doesn’t really care, because his prank was worth more than that. On the same day, Carson got something that might change his entire life.
