    While growing up, parents always tell their children to work hard at everything they do to have a better life. What would be the best way to start the road to have this better life? Some will say to go to college, get a degree, and get a high paying job; and some will say to get a job, work hard and work your way to the top. It’s fine to be settled with one of the two options, but what benefits are included when starting off? In the United States Armed Forces, one can go to college to obtain a degree and at the same time work hard to make it to the top, and the benefits start once they ship out to boot camp. Now some will use the excuse that they don’t want to die, but one has a better chance of getting in a car accident and dying than they do deploying. Some of the amazing benefits that the United States Armed Forces offer while serving include: a chance to travel the world, help in achieving a higher education, and a health care system that supports the service member. Most people have never left their home state and would like to see the world. If someone were to join, the first stop would be the memorable place called boot camp. In the Air Force, every man and woman would begin training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas for eight weeks. The Navy has one training facility just like the Air Force which is located at The Great Lakes Naval Training Center in Lake Michigan, Illinois.
