Blood work is done and shows leukocytosis and anemia, both indications of Burkitt lymphoma. An ultrasound guided biopsy of lymph nodes of the neck and spine is completed and sent to the lab. In addition, a CT chest for pulmonary embolus is performed showing splenomegaly and axillary/mediastinal adenopathy.
