    you won’t be able to fulfill the needs of every student nor implement changes overnight. However, sitting down and listening to the students can give the President a whole new dynamic or point of view of what is going on in the life of the students. If I had to change one thing on campus, I would try to buy the street on the campus that are owned by the city of Huntsville to make the one-way streets go both again. Also, I would hope to improve parking on campus and avoid having to deal with the city making changes and paid parking on those back streets. It ridiculous that the city of Huntsville has little no regard of how they are impacting the students and hurting the University when Huntsville is more or less a college town. Without the college and prisons in Huntsville, the city would be a small town nobody would know about. The argument that college students are not tax paying citizens is null and void because we bring a lot of business to the city and get taxed on what we do in Walker County, as well as the university being taxed. With the amount of business and draw that the university brings the city, Huntsville should have no problem working with us to improve the campus, especially when the school is willing to pay and has does so much for this town. 8.
