    Some people are given nicknames based on their actions others are based on their personality. Some people are so famous that we incorporated their names into spells or wizardry. Queen Mary of England of the 1500’s was so ruthless that she was given the nickname bloody. When people are that bad and ruthless they are never forgotten and their spirit is always there to haught you. Bloody Mary is mostly known as a drink you can get in a bar. But, Bloody Mary was actually a person who is part of historical folklore and is known everywhere. But, her name isn’t really Bloody Mary. Her real name is Mary I, she was born February 18th 1516. She was the only child of Henry VIII, Then she was the queen of England and Ireland until she passed away in 1558 at the age of 42. During her reign, she married Philip of Spain and she became pregnant, but when the due date came around the baby never was born. Now, in modern times it is believed that she had Pseudocyesis or “ phantom pregnancy”. Where, she was longing so much to become pregnant, that her body tricked her into believing that she was. She was best known for her explosive temper, but that didn’t earn her the nickname “Bloody Mary”. Mary I had over 300 people burned at the stake who disagreed with her religion which was catholic, that is what earned her the nickname “Bloody Mary”.
