    I chose to review Hotel California by the Eagles because they are very sentimental to me because I grew up listening to them while riding shotgun in my dad’s truck. This album was released in December of 1976 by Asylum and became one of the Eagles best selling studio albums of all time. In the early part of their career, The Eagles struggled to get a big rock sound. Hotel California unveiled almost a whole new band in terms of sound and energy. This album was very transitory for the band because it was their first album without Bernie Leadon who helped shape the Eagles early sound of country-rock.
