Do you love traveling? Do you ever want to travel somewhere and forget about your troubles? A place where nobody knows your name. A destination where you can sit back and relax. Just imagine it.. you visiting the Tower of London one day. Then the next you are soaking your feet in coral gardens at Bora Bora. After that, you are sightseeing at Casa Batllo in Barcelona. I always imagine myself in different places and experiencing the many different cultures and architectures worlds have to offer. In this paper, you will see my plans to achieve the dream of becoming a world traveler by the age of 25. The first goal I need to achieve is deciding where I want to go, set a time frame and estimate how much everything will cost. There are around one hundred ninety-six countries in the world and I only have seven years to accomplish this dream, to do this I need to narrow down my list and set out time on how long would I like to visit at a certain destination. Finally set out an estimation on how much I will need. It is always good to estimate how much you need before you start saving you so you won’t be surprised when you actually start planning. I feel this is an achievable goal because it only helps me to plan out the dream. This is very personal to me because it will give me the sense of accomplishment. Doing something that I love and want to do instead of someone telling me what I have to do in life. This has always been a dream of mine because growing up as an Army…
I. Introduction Attention getter statement: Who wants to lead an exciting life full of adventure and novelty? I’m assuming that is everyone, right. I’m signed up to study abroad next semester in Madrid, Spain. The process of signing up…
That greats, did you do your Level 2 through us or elsewhere? Where are you from Corey, and where is the Rossignol dry slope you are hoping to work at? As far as I am aware, and I have CSIA L2 and park certification, I am able to instruct and be insuranced when I work for a ski school. Different ski schools around the world may have different policies and may only except certain qualifications at a set level. “CASI's insurance policy only covers CASI members while teaching and riding on a…
Gate-Away to Kalinchowk! Travelling is liberating. People talk about why they love travelling and how they travel. In my case, there are two reasons. First, I love to explore things and widen my perspectives. Travelling, for me, is a therapy and it always makes me grateful towards my life for many reasons. Second, I envy my dad's travel diaries. Perhaps, I fathom, I got that travel-itch in heredity. Towards the third week of January, I decided to go to Kalinchowk. Again, there are two reasons…
Have you ever heard of the quote “Nobody ever said life was easy…they just promised that it would be worth it”? Do you feel like it applies to you? Well, it applies to everyone. Nothing is ever handed to someone, and if someone says they have, then they really haven’t accomplished or worked for anything yet. Everybody has to work hard and endure stress to make it somewhere. However, that stress can keep people from doing and trying the things they love. Luckily, if you keep trying, you’ll…
streaming services, and digital music retailers. At the same time, though, some might argue that the internet has not had a negative effect on the recording industry. In fact, there are some artists who are still selling chart-busting albums, even with the declining sales in the industry. One of the artists experiencing such success in the industry today is Adele Adkins. Since releasing her third studio effort, 25, Adele has gone on to have success that has not been seen for many years. After…
America. For instance, since Western music spread to record shops of Japan, J-pop adopted some elements of Western music and developed significantly, impacting nearly every aspect of popular culture not only in Japan but countries such as Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore and many other countries. It is no exaggeration to say that anime, television, shows and video games regularly use J-pop theme songs as their background music and Japanese directors normally invite J-pop artists to perform theme…
