My favorite constellation is Scorpius ("The Scorpion") due to the fact that I am a Scorpio (my birthday is November 15th). Scorpius is the southernmost constellation out of all the Zodiac constellations and is near the center of the Milky Way. Also, the red star, Antares, is located where the Scorpion's heart is supposed to be. The star is red because it should be going out soon. The Scorpion's heart may either turn into a black hole (which many describe our hearts to be like) or a new star.…
My favorite constellation is the Cetus or 'whale' because I think it looks more like a frying pan than a whale. The Cetus is a constellation made up of 88 stars and the brightest star is called Deneb Kaitos. The Cetus is very close to the other zodiac constellations such as Aries, Pisces and Aquarius. The creation story of the Cetus constellation stems from Greek mythology. In this story the Cetus is called a Sea Monster and not a whale. According to the myth Poseidon sent the sea monster…

Gods and Goddesses surround the world’s lore, from stories of amazing heroes, parents of demigods that turn into great warriors. Although in many current culture tales, they show the famous gods helping and aiding protagonist, even an increase of half human, half gods in current literature. Now which is most famous to you? Zeus? Maybe Poseidon, or even Hades. Yes they are known well, but not as expressed or as beloved as the daughter of Zeus herself, Athena, Goddess of Wisdom and War. Athena is…
You thought you knew all about Hercules From the Disney story books? The legend of Hercules is different from the story books. Zeus, Hercules father, did not have Hercules by his own wife. Would you be full of envy if someone were unfaithful to you? Hera, brother and wife of Zeus was known for her jealously of her husband partners and their children. She often turned to revenge to get even. Hera, the goddess of marriage and childbirth wanted to look over married women. She wished women were not treated the way Zeus treated her. Walt Disney created a film related to the myth of Hercules, but there are many parts from the myth that weren’t included in the film. The reason why is to keep the film family-friendly for kids to enjoy without seeing all the gruesome parts from the actual myth. By making the film a musical comedy, Disney kept it PG-13; successfully making the once morbid myth of Hercules upbeat. To start off; in the myth, Hercules were born to Zeus and a mortal woman name Alcmene, with parents being an…
in the movie, Hercules starts out as baby born amongst the gods atop Mt. Olympus. As part of an evil plot to overthrow Zeus (father of Hercules) and rule Mount Olympus, Hades, god of the underworld, sends out his minions to kidnap baby Hercules so that they would be able to turn him mortal and dispose of him, therefore allowing Hades to carry out his plan without interference from Hercules when he became older. They are successful in kidnapping the child and turning him mortal, but fail to take…

So the girl grew up poor filling cups and cleaning pots and pans. On one breezy fall day Agape was in the market shopping for her mother, when…
Hercules stood in the mirror admiring himself, and flexing his huge incredible muscles. “I look good” he said to himself. “You know what would make me look even better”? He thought to himself. If I go out and wear tight fitting clothing in order for everyone in the world to see my huge muscles. Hercules knew if he were to fight, everyone would gather around to watch it. “Maybe I can find one my enemies like Hydra whom I dislike, but for some reason I don’t know where she lives”. Hydra is a giant…
