The next day, the Principle and Whitey suspend most of the team for their actions the night before, but says that Nathan was not involved in the theft, when he obviously was . In the next scene it becomes apparent that Dan had made sure that Nathan was not in trouble. Also the “fight” between Dan and Whitey comes to our attention. Back at the park, Lucas sees Peyton driving by which starts a conversation between Lucas and his friends which they mention her webcam. That night he goes back to the cafe where he meets his mom and Haley. Haley is invited to join them for dinner, and Haley talks a lot making it hard for Lucas and Karen to have any conversation. Next in Peyton's room, Peyton and Nathan are fighting about them never spending time together. During this argument, Nathan insults Peyton's music and says that if she didn't like him that she could leave. He then apologizes, and Peyton reluctantly forgives him. This scene shows how much their relationship is falling apart and foreshadows more problems in the future. Later, Keith goes to talk to Whitey about the possibility of an opening on the team after the suspension for Lucas. Whitey seams to trust Keith, so he agrees to go see him play basketball. Whitey goes to the park where he sees Lucas playing basketball, he is obviously very…
