“In three words I can summarize everything I’ve learned about life: it goes on.” I remember these words repeating in my head as my mom told me the devastating news about my uncle. When you are living your life, you began to feel as if nothing can come between you and your happiness. You forget that this journey does come to an end like a roller coaster does after its crazy, adrenaline-filled ride and it can happen to anyone you know. Events in life can hit you at any given moment, and sometimes you have to take the memory by the hand and carry it with you because it may be the reason you are who you have become today. We had planned a trip to San Antonio, Texas with my mother’s sister and her husband, in the week before New Years. It’s hard for one to take this question seriously when all you can picture is a scene from “A Night at the Roxbury”, with Will Ferrell and Chris Kattan simultaneously bobbing their heads to the beat of this infamous song. While I can’t help but bob my head…

What is love? I don’t mean the hit song What is love? by Haddaway. What does love truly mean. As defined by dictionary.com, love is an intense feeling of deep affection. I believe that love is much more than that though. True love would mean you would do anything for the person you love. A deep bond that could not be broken by anything, by anyone. A mother’s love for her child is one example, the mother would sacrifice herself in order for her child to live. It does not have to be that extreme…
