Muscular men with superhuman features is the definition of a hero on google. Even though superheroes in comics can be heroes, true heroes are ones who normally aren’t recognized for their physical features, but their actions. In The Outsiders, by S.E. Hinton, Darrel Curtis is considered a hero because he raises and cares for his siblings and friends. Darry can also be recognized as an anti-hero considering he slapped Ponyboy in anger. “Tragedy of college student, 19, left to raise her three younger siblings after both parents killed in Hurricane Sandy”, by Rachel Quigley from Daily Mail, likewise shows Zoe Everett being a hero because, like Darry, she also cares for her siblings after her parents’ death. To elaborate, Darry is also a hero because he tries to ensure that Ponyboy is safe and close to his family. This quote comes from the part of the story when Ponyboy gets home at 2 am and Darry and Soda were waiting and worrying all night."I reckon it never occurred to you that your brothers might be worrying their heads off and afraid to call the police because something like that could get you thrown in a boys' home so quick it'd make your head spin." (Hinton 50) This quote says that Darry and Sodapop were worrying about Ponyboy and that Ponyboy could have been sent to a boys home. This quote shows that Darry cares that Ponyboy is safe at home. It also shows that Darry is afraid of calling the police because he does not want Ponyboy to be separated and sent away to a boys’…

This was the first attempt at producing a career guidance theory. The theory is that everybody is different and that these differences can be measured. The requirements of individual jobs can be measured and the two matched up. Consequently you get the right person for the right job. Most careers software programs such as kudos and…

table and shims when necessary. Once we were finished collecting data, we took the average of the 3 trials for each weight and averaged them. We then took the averages and inserted them as the mass into Newton's second law of motion. With that our equation was F=m(9.8m/s^2), where force was the force acting upon the cart and mass was the mass of our weight, and acceleration being 9.8 m/s^2 or the acceleration due to gravity. Results: After conducting the series of tests as described in the…
different techniques to identify Unknown A and Unknown B bacteria’s. These techniques are gram staining and metabolic testing. I first used Gram staining to distinguished and identify the bacteria’s. Han Christian discovered gram staining in 1882, he had biopsy a patient lung that had pneumonia. The main purpose for Gram staining is to identify if is Gram positive or Gram negative by using differential staining. While Gram staining shows the difference between Gram Positive and Gram negative…

Within the many procedures of identifying the unknown bacteria, I was first given a tube with the unknown bacteria, from which later on I started subcultures by streaking bacteria from the original tube onto a tryptic soy agar (TSA) slant. Throughout the process of identifying the unknown, new subcultures were produced in order to use the newest bacteria to conduct the tests.…
