Gingerbread House Analysis On December 11th 2017, the critical thinking class started making gingerbread house. Grace’s class decided to make these fun gingerbread houses to bring holiday cheer and celebrate the holidays. This project was a one day project and was very enjoyable. It was very easy and related to the E in STEM. The E stands for Engineering and there was a lot of that. This project only took one class period, which is surprising because the quality of some of them are astonishing. This project had to do with STEM because it was engineering. The student had to create a design that wouldn’t fall apart and would remain stable. They also had to make their plan look good to. It isn’t all about how it stays up. If it falls down, at least it will be pretty while falling. The most stable base out of everyone’s was most likely Noah’s base. After two days, almost everyone's base had at least broken a little bit, but Noah’s did not. The most decorative house was Grace’s. Her house was very colorful and even had a decorated front yard full of spice drops and marshmallows. These are the two things that the project should be graded on. Fashion, Beauty, and Stableness, these three things are very important.…

The White Horse I just wanted the horse white. Not red, yellow, brown, green, or blue, but white. Maybe following the directions created a more soothing outcome, but try telling that to a stubborn five year old who just wants things done their way. Instructions blocked creativity and adults tell kids that uniqueness creates personality. As of that my personality and cleverness in Kindergarten ranked very high on the charts in my eyes. The Gingerbread Man, a classic tale where a little…

I will be telling you about. The time I had to make gingerbread cookies for the first time. It may sound like this story should be pleasant or funny. in the pan over there,” you ordered, gesturing towards the clear pan with your head because your hands were full, “And make sure to get a rubber spatula!” By the time you and Zack were done baking, three hours had passed and you made a double batch of fudge, a lot of peppermint bark, and three dozen gingerbread men. “How are we going to eat all of this?” You wondered as you decorated one of the gingerbread men to look like an old man with a monocle. Zack shrugged. “We’re gong to have to give…

Goat, and the story I told was The Gingerbread Man with a different ending from the traditional story. Family Literacy Night was a great opportunity to practice my storytelling skills, and practice what questions allow them to think deeper. Although I enjoyed it there were moments that I thought about changing some questions and even changing my book. I also noticed the amount of distractions that can draw the attention away from the reading, but I learned a variety of ways that may work with…

When I was younger I also remember listening to bedtime stories. Frequently the stories my parents told me were from their childhood but, occasionally I would grab a huge boo full of fairytales. Some of my favorites were Cinderella, Red Riding Hood and the Three Little Pig, my all-time favorite was the gingerbread man. The Gingerbread man helped with my literate skills because of the pictures as well as the hidden life lesson in the story. The pictures helped make the story more interesting and…
