    Coming Up Short of a Dream The UConn women’s basketball program is well known for their excellence on the court and always being one of the best teams in the country every year. Especially proving it last year in 1995 National Championship by beating Tennessee. With the hype of both teams meeting again in the final four this year, the game was set to be one the greatest games in woman history. The referee tossed up the ball up and the game was on. It was a back and fourth game with the Lady Volunteers going on short runs and building a lead, but then quickly the Huskies would answer right back and bring the game back to a few points. As the clock is winding down in the second half of the game, UConn is down quite a bit when head coach Geno Auriemma calls a timeout to simply calms his girls down.
