grab it with my left had to remove it but it was to hot to even touch. I screamed at Seth and Heath so loud they heard me over the gunshots and through their earmuffs. Seeing me down on my knees, clutching my wrist they immediately knew something was wrong. they sat down the rifles and ran over to me. As they were running to come and help me I made up my mind that the bullet had to come out so I took a deep breath, grabbed the burning piece of brass and ripped it out of my hand. Blood instantaneously gushed out of the large hole the bullet left in my had. When Seth and Heath got over to where I was and saw what happened they started calming me down and cleaning the wound. Heath luckily had gauze pads in the backpack he brought to help stop the majority of the bleeding. After a few packs of gauze we got it to stop bleeding enough to examine closer. After we looked at it closely we determined the wound was approximately an inch deep. We knew we needed to get to the hospital quickly so they packed up all of our stuff and we headed out. In the piece, readers are exposed to this via Ali’s grandmother, who comments to him on…

In this lab, we tested different experiments on a candle flame in order to better understand properties, combustion, and states of matter. We recorded many observations that could help us reach a conclusion using what we saw happen. When we observed the regular candle flame, we concluded that the heat of the flame vaporizes the liquid wax. Then, we blew this candle out and took a different lit candle into the smoke trail from the burnt out candle. The wax vapor in the smoke is combustible,…
