    A ganglion cyst, also known as Bible cyst is a noncancerous growth, (tumor or swelling) that forms in the body. Usually developed in the hand and wrist, or ankle and foot, especially on the top of a joint or the covering of a tendon (tissue that connects muscle to bone). It is solid but filled with liquid, jelly like substance. This substance is thick, sticky, clear, and colorless. Depending on the size, cysts may feel firm or spongy. Causes: There are no known causes for the ganglion cyst formation, but there are risk factors that increases the possibility of it.
