All they have is ISS or a 3/5. Were getting suspended if we don’t write an essay. I admit that it was wrong to laugh at you, I apologize for that. But, the punishment is ridiculous. “No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.” This quote, by Nelson Mandela, reflects a recurring theme in “Funny Boy” by Shyam Selvadurai. Throughout the novel characters such as Radha Aunty, Jegan, and Arjie are ostracized, and belittled by society due to the hatred that lies…

think that the most impact of me changing into how I am today would be the car culture. The car culture is a place where I really adapted into. I learned about how the whole scene works and the different kinds of people. When I lived in California a group of friends that I had were car enthusiast, they would talk about the meets going down, the events, etc. I was more of a regular person at the time who cared nothing else except video games. I later adapted to this culture because I like how…

I think that it isn’t actually that romantic, and it isn’t all that it’s said to be. I think that Valentine’s day is just a silly day where everyone gets a weird heart shaped candy or something and funny valentine cards. Everyone thinks that it’s a lovey dovey day but to me, it just doesn’t seem like it. I don’t really like Valentine’s day, so I can relate to Piper there.
