Love,Life, And Liberty “A discussion on the theme of life in, Spoon River Anthology” There are many reasons and themes in spoon river. The 3 poems I picked had many life events that would go hand in hand in what happens in life of present day. My favorite 3 was Constance Hately, Kindsey Keene, and Benjamine Lantier. All of these poems were about important life events. Some were very good others were very poor. In all of these poems they prove what life is like and how beautiful but also go hard it can be. In every single one they give a statement about what they should have done differently or what they would have liked to do. First off Constance Hately was chosen because she enjoyed life and she always lived it to the fullest. She never just let life pass her bye she took charge and made sure that life was all that it should be. She did have a few things that held her down. She was taking care of her siblings since her folks had gone. They never were a burden to her she felt grateful that she had the opportunity to make sure they did great things with their lives. She did fall ill many years later and she speaks of the times that she so misses taking care of them. And now she will not get to see them all grow up so fast as she has become very ill. In the end of the poem she explains what she must to do keep them going even before she is gone. Secondly the best life poem read was Kinsey Keene. This one was chosen because it was very different from all the other poems…

Assuming by the speaker, "Hooted at, jeered at by the Yahoos of the street" Minerva Jones is not quite admired by folks, she is mocked and insulted by others. It is indisputable that Minerva Jones had a rocky relationship with others. Throughout the text, the speaker not only discusses but mentions others involved in her tragic…

Savannah, Georgia is a populous city filled with people of all different cultures, but surprisingly there are areas which unknowingly combine several sub-cultures together to form one large culture in Savannah. The experience of the flea market began when I missed the turn to the parking lot. Instead, I was required…
